Commercial Refurbishment Aberdeen – The Nook
REFURBISHMENT OF PREVIOUS RESTAURANT TO ABERDEEN’S FIRST MENTAL HEALTH FACILITY – THE NOOK BY SAMH
In May 2026, Burns Construction successfully completed the commercial refurbishment of The Nook in Aberdeen, transforming the former Tony Macaroni restaurant at Castlegate into a welcoming and inclusive mental health hub for SAMH. As the first dedicated mental health facility of its kind in Aberdeen, the project created a safe, supportive environment designed to provide accessible wellbeing services for the local community.
This commercial refurbishment in Aberdeen involved the complete transformation of the existing building, carefully reconfiguring the internal layout while upgrading the property to meet its new purpose. Working closely with SAMH, the project combined high-quality craftsmanship with thoughtful design to create a modern facility that reflects the organisation’s commitment to improving mental health and wellbeing.
The completed refurbishment demonstrates Burns Construction’s expertise in delivering high-quality commercial refurbishment projects, breathing new life into existing buildings while creating functional spaces that have a lasting positive impact.
